having physical and developmental disabilities, the world around her can seem complicated and corrupt. in a personal effort to simplify life, Elaina wanted to make a way to utilize products that she knew were good for her and the environment and staying clear of ridiculous amounts of things she couldn't pronounce.

Elaina has always loved volunteering in animal rescue, being in nature, and has always been considered a "free spirit".

It was out of this personal journey of growth and her connection to nature that A Cottage Affair was born.
